You know what? Fuck this 'mod'. Fuck this 'alpha'.

From the get go, this thing has been PLAGUED by problems. From shoddy coding to downright STUPID design decisions. Yes, let's remove bandit skins and turn the game into a deathmatch.

Battle-eye is a fucking JOKE. I've never seen an anti-hack system that fails so fucking spectacularly. Do the guys at battle eye headquarters just sit around with their thumbs up their asses? This is a legitimate question.

In the past two days, I've been killed by hackers three times. The most recent hacker managed to nuke the entire server of GB #500, because, lol, someone managed to KILL HIM. He was teleporting around randomly killing everyone. I guess someone caught him before he got to them, so he just nuked the server.

This has caused my game to cease working. Logging in now just gives me a black screen, with no error message. I can even log in to non-hive servers, so it's not a problem on my end. It's a problem with the HIVE itself.

And then, the community.

It's a fucking alpha.

WE GET IT.

Blow it out your ass you over-entitled, arrogant fucks. It's a fucking alpha. Which means that people who play the game POINT OUT THE FLAWS.

And right now, I'm pointing out that the alpha is flawed in every single way. From the design, to the execution, to the shittiest fucking community I've seen since 12 year old COD kiddies.

In its current state, the game is completely unplayable. Why bother going through all the trouble of getting my loot the proper way when I can just buy a fucking script? What's the point of playing the game when a 12 year old getting his money from his fucking mommy can buy a script and ruin EVERYTHING?

Yeah, I don't get attached to my gear. me and my friend burned through an M107, a ghillie suit, a M249, two CZ550's, the thermal scope assault rifle, various sidearms, backpacks, GPS, whatever. All in the last three days. We don't have any problems finding gear. In fact, it's fucking EASY.

But when a hacker just ends your life with the push of a button? Consistently? No. That's fucking bullshit.

And then, there's the GAME ITSELF.

One little problem, and you're effectively kicked off the HIVE servers with no actual chance, ever, of getting back on the fucking things. Enjoy your black loading screen.

If this is even a tenth of an indication of what the finished product will be, then I wouldn't waste a fucking cent on it.

Now come on, all of you Rocket-worshipping shitstains come at me and say 'QQ more' or just 'good riddance' when you know for fact that every single fucking point I made is the truth.

Awesome concept Rocket. Too bad you pulled it off with all the style and ability of the cameraman for the Paris Hilton Home Video set!

Just don't get attached to your character, and by having to start from scratch you get better at gathering/finding loot spots and the ability to sneak or be stealthy. I understand when having great gear and dying from a hacker is a huge piss off, but time can only tell. I also agree that Battle-eye isn't doing as much as they could or should be, but I haven't been in their office to make that assumption. Since there aren't any real stats in DayZ, the hackers don't affect the "score board" if there was one. They are a nuisance, and we can only hope for a better anti-hack system soon!

I can't even restart any more, because the HIVE itself won't link with me, or whatever the fuck the problem is. I could handle hack cunts. I can avoid those. But the game system itself is fucked. You've all seen it. Spawning in debug plains. Losing items, gear, and shit for no reason. As it stands now, it's broken.

I have become part of an awesome community and have, for a large part, avoided or adapted to most of the glitches and bugs. I also know that most of the 1+ million people that are playing the Alpha are also enjoying it.(if the forums are any indication, that is)

Now I understand you had a poor in game experience and that sucks, sorry bro. But because you haven't enjoyed it doesn't make it bad. I think baseball is dumb but my opinion does not define it.

Clearly this game is not for you. Thanks for trying it out and on behalf of everyone else here, don't let the door hit you on the way out... It might break your legs.

I want to address a few things with you. I understand you are upset. I am hardly a Rocket worshipper, but I do understand what I signed up for. So lets take a breath and step back.

Bandit Turbins are back in right now, but I feel the damage has already been done. But I can't help but point out from the very start its always been 'Kill Bandits and Survivors' as its listed on the front page to kill both zombies and survivors. Zombies are a problem, but they don't give you the same fear as another bandit/player does. Maybe this game turned out not to be for you or what you wanted? That's understandable.

Its plagued by problems for a number of reasons. To add fuel to the fire the biggest one isn't it actually being in Alpha, its more along the lines of it being a Mod and running on the ArmaII Engine, which is not at all designed for this kind of game.

Battleye isn't great, but again a major problem here isn't battleye. Its the Engine ArmaII uses. Have you read this thread yet? I found it very informative and even had some of my own thoughts put into the OP.

I have never heard of this problem before-- Have you checked to make sure your video card didn't fry or another problem? I would suggest reinstalling ArmaII. Actually, try using DayZ Commander. That may fix your problem.

Like CoD? Have you tried to fire from the hip or while running in this game? It doesn't work. If anything, I think sniping/camping is a much bigger problem than anything else. But, thats not my gameplay style so I can't really judge it. I have to work around it,

Not unplayable. Just not worth doing anything that is worth doing. There are other things you can do. Its meant to be a sandbox style experience. If one way doesn't work, try another. Or wait for the standalone.

I agree its frustrating. Loot is incredibly easy to find. But is this your goal in the game to find loot, or what purpose do you actually want to have in this game? For me, its not about the loot, its having fun.

Not trolling. I am legitimately leaving. I just want one final dose of the COD kiddies in the community coming to defend their dying mod.

I might try this when it goes standalone. But if I even hear about a single hack, I won't bother. It's still built on an engine run by the same designers, and will probably be using Battle-Blind for their anti-hack.

Have you attempted to manually update your battleye files? You have to copy both client and server files from battleye into your battleye folder.

Bioshock has a huge graphical glitch that removes the graphics of dead bodies, and burnt items. It has NEVER been fixed.

Bethesda has glitches in all there games, that break the game and make in unplayable. Most of them get fixed. Other get put into the next game they make. I hope it's not like that for Skyrim online.

Elsword Online has a HUGE bug where xTrap corrupts the files it needs to run the game. I spent a good week or so fixing it and when I did, they updated it to fuck it all up again!

CoD (Treyarch) has a shit ton of bugs, glitches and hacks. And comparing it to this game. It's horrid.

Monster Hunter (All of them!) have huge Animation errors that cause death during boss fights. Most higher tier bosses have out of range hit boxes, and deal damage that is much higher then what was stated. (After armor, and outside effects are added). And Capcom released a dozen or so of them!

ALMOST! Forgot Darkfall and Mortal Online. You think this game is hardcore? Then those 2 are like

Tungsten Core games. These games are still in the beta and have more bugs and errors then DayZ will ever have. Hell if you were to reload DayZ a dozen times you would still not have more bugs then Half of Mortal online. Dunno bout Darkfall though.

And for fucks sake since the 1.7.5 patch hackers have been on a down low. I am FINALLY able to kill players without them turning on me and shooting me once with a Macrov and death 100k blood! Although, the artifacts are still there in Baltoa, Field Hospital, and NE Airfield.

I guess you have your own answer then. I am not trying to change your mind, just being informative.

Yes, Battleye did recently do a massive change to their system. There was battleye client massages informing server hosts to update their server side information for the last few days.

However, like every battleye update, We get peace from hackers for roughly 24-48 hours before they come back.

This time seems a little different, because now when the banning logs show up, it says 'Banned for" whatever reason, followed by "By DayZ/Anti-Hack System."

Something is new, don't know what. So far it /seems/ to be working. Guess we will have to see what happens in the next couple of days.

I also understand your frustration, if not more. I am a server host. You do not want me to get started on what I can't do with the server for various reasons. Dying from hackers is one thing, but being unable to ban them or control your server besides restarts can grow very taxing on an individual.

Everyone has a breaking point and limit. I wish you luck where you go.

Edit - If you are bored of Chernarus, Try Lingor Island. Though the Hacking problem is just as bad.
