Abhorred server admin and pathetic ping limits

So my friend and I had just been through the factories looking for car parts. We are driving away in our offroad when suddenly... "no message received for 5--10--15 seconds". We both abort.

I know for a fact that it was a server restart, because of that and the fact that there was an admin online [he goes by the name 'Ambient'].

He didn't give ANYONE any warning. When you load into the server it doesn't say "server restart will occur without warning" or such a phrase.

So we wait for it to go back up and hop back in. We both load in and...Chris is kicked for a ping of 280. This didn't happen earlier. For around a few seconds I had 600 ping earlier today on the same server but I wasn't kicked.

He constantly gets kicked for ping and I'm stuck on loading three times on the same server.

tl;dr-- admins who ARE ONLINE AND INGAME that don't give warnings for a server restart are complete dicks.

-- admins who place ping limits of less than four hundred are complete dicks.

Rant over. We may now have lost several vehicles and high value weapons.

It's not the ping that we have to deal with. This is one of the only servers that has kicked us for ping.

Also, I wouldn't dare touch the AU/ANZ/NZ servers; they are filled with hackers.

I survived one today, I was up in rog castle at the top and he shows up and tells me he has bombs strapped to his chest, I didnt believe him so i empty half a belt from my saw in him and he says oops kaboom and explodes the castle and me, but somehow it didnt kill me and i joined another server and bled to 2200 before waking up and bandaging. I've been kicked for high ping (200-250) in similar situations, I don't have a problem with it. It would be nice if the ping limit was advertised in the server name so at least you knew in advance not to try and join those servers, I've seen this on a few NZ servers (ping limit of 100).

280 ping is pretty high, it sucks but it's a risk you take when you play on a server outside your region, nobody really like trying to shoot someone who is lagging.
