Trees and grass snow glitch >:(

Hello, just got dayZ working after much hassle and painstake...

and i get this weird snow glitch effect.. it just doesnt end ! !

i posted some examples of my issue as well.. with the snow grass man i hope this game is worth all this fucking hassle FUCK

yes i have tried tweaking the individual graphics settings but one terrain snow glitch issue is replaced with same issue on another terrain feature

Go to your Mydocuments\Arma 2 folder.

In there you will find a folder called: ArmA2OA.cfg

Open it with notepad.

Now, near the bottom there is a line: ATOC=7;

Change the 7 to a 0 (zero). Start the game, see how it looks.

If it doesnt work then post here your in game settings and your computer specs.

hey thanx for the fast reply... but your solution didnt help me at all. :*(

i have tried changing the ingame graphics settings alot and nothing happens..

I have a new very fast pc, 16 gig DDr3 ram, sapphire 7770 card, AMD 6100 six core processor 3.30Ghz.. i cant remember what the mobo is.. i hope this is enough ?? thanx again for your help kind sir(s)

I get this with AA set to anything above very high.

You seem to have post processing on, I would advise you to turn it off or set it to very low.

I had the same problem as this, because I thought my rig kicked serious ass (which it does. GTX580, woop woop) so I set my AA to 8, the highest setting. When I changed it to "Very High", that fixed the problem for me.

i took your advice Mr Napoleon and yes it worked somewhat but it still pops up when facing a particular direction.. but seems to happen less now :\ hmmm


no killing joke but thanx, ive cycled the anti aliasing :*(

Thanx for all your help 2 years ago guys haha, the problem was never fixed completley but almost.. back then i wasnt aware of arma2 being so painful and buggy

 

(Ps i just stumbled across this topic I made all that time ago)
