vile. 38 Posted August 17, 2012 Ok, so i could really use some feedback cause this game is trolling us like never before...I had a fully stashed ATV on one server for weeks now, and I've been using it a lot since 2.5 and a tent close by.Earlier today i checked everything out, used the ATV to raid for vehicle parts in Berezino and parked it again in its orignal spot after i was done.Now after a server restart the tent had reset to the status it had WEEKS ago (one pile of wood instead of everything that was actually in it) and the ATVs DUPLICATED and its stash was reset to a fresh spawned ATV (1 tent, 5 heat packs and 2 cans of beans).Now a few hours later i was picking up my friend in Solnichny with another ATV i fixed up today on another server and after we arrived North the server restarted shortly after i parked and saved the ATV, and AGAIN its contents were reset to one tent, 5 heat packs and 2 cans of beans...We lost a huge amount of items to bugs neither of us has ever experienced before (and we have been playing 1.7.2.5 since Saturday) so we're not sure if its worth playing if tents and vehicles just randomly reset now.Would really appreciate it if someone has some info on what is going on... Upon server restart one of two things happens, everything goes back to its spawn or my bike evolves into a motorcycle, which, don't get me wrong, is awesome. prestondemaria@gmail.com 65 Posted August 17, 2012 The server restarts can be really random. Sometimes after a reset only my Ural is at base with a bicycle. Other times all 6 of my vehicles are at base. Other times half are at base and the rest spawn on the roads that we previously were driving on.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's been that way for a long time. You and your little ATV oh noes, what did you lose a couple AK's and an Enfield? What about the other people that this has been happening to for a while now where they just lose all of their vehicles and all of their high tier shit? It was completely filled of 50 weapons, some of which are 4 SVD Camos, 11 AS50s, 6 M4A1 CCO SD, and 4 MK48 Mod 0, 5 NVG 5 Rangefinders.. not to mention ammo, satchels and coyotes... Deal with it. First was NE airfield, spawned all red and my buddy was driving back to it with the last windshield when the server restarted, and ate it. We had saved it numerous times.The next day, we began looking for it again, and I found it at Skalsity, and it was all green, and out of gas. After sticking 7 gas cans in it we were able to fly it to a gas station, refuel, and enjoy it for a few hours before it was eaten again.Again i found it at Skalsity, with the gas cans we had put in it still inside. Refueled and enjoyed it again for a little while.Yet AGAIN i found it at Skalsity, this time with no gas cans. After refueling, My buddy was flying drunk, and crashed it. Upon server restart it was back in the crashed spot, green and ready to go. Upon the next restart it was eaten again, and I haven't seen it since.Tents and other vehicles are extremely buggy too, when moving campsites almost anything we take out is either put back in its original tent, or duped accidentally. Saving and running over the tents doesn't help. Last night i had the Russian 4x4 (the most ANNOYING vehicle in game) despawn after we had raided another campsite and spawn at the.... NE Airfield. We also stole the red car from them, stashed it, and later were going back to retrieve it when someone else had found it and was driving away. A few SVD and L85 mags later, the car was blown up after hitting a tree, then disappeared. It respawned in the same place after server restart.As of right now, almost every item/vehicle is bugged to some extent. From auto-repairing 4x4s, Buses, bikes, and motorcycles to respawning on the coast, DayZ is full of bugs and you just gotta learn to deal with it.Can't wait for the standalone game! SGT.Beast 1 Posted August 17, 2012 It is only happening in the 1.7.2.5 patch, so too bad for all you dayz comander users who downloaded it automaticly. This info is just from what i have heard and experienced, but i play on a 2.4 server and our cars are always on the same spot when the server restarts.
