red_orchestra@msn.com 112 Posted August 18, 2012 Sometimes I wonder if I'm playing a realistic post apocalypse game or if I'm playing unreal tournament instagib deathmatch.
TheMachine 803 Posted August 18, 2012 Just for a bit of variation, perhaps some people should spawn with the M107 too?
ptk (DayZ) 178 Posted August 18, 2012 (edited) I think we should be able to build as50 sentry guns just like the engineer and at level three, you can either fly on it like an as50, potter-style magic broomstick or pull off the barrel to wield a ten-foot, as50 samurai sword. it can also chop wood and you can skewer meat on it for an as50 bbq. the meat itself would naturally double its value in blood (1600) because of its as50 deliciousness (obviously). then, if you collect bolts you can just use them as ammo for the as50 scuba. that way, you're totally silent when you snipe someone at close or long range or even under water. as of now though, the biggest problem with this game is that the as50 doesn't give you the range your target is at. I mean, for a starter weapon, why not just take out all that guesswork? afterall it would definately help newer players adjust to the game, which already has a very steep learning curve... bazbake 456 Posted August 18, 2012 Just for a bit of variation, perhaps some people should spawn with the M107 too?Whoa, whoa, whoa...you don't want twice as many .50 caliber rifles running around. Just one per player upon spawn is enough.

sellasie_83@hotmail.com 27 Posted August 18, 2012 I'd say its all the duping thats going on. Wouldnt have been that many AS50 if not for the duplication. I see (on dayztrade) so many who has NATO rounds for sale, but.. Wheres the gun? And how come you have found 1 AS50 but have 10 mags of NATO? Things like that.. Im semi new to the game but i saw after a few days that the game is ruined by duplicaters. Theres no scavaging anymore, except for us noobs who hasnt started to dupe weapons. evulclown@gmail.com 191 Posted August 19, 2012 Why do we need hatchets, knives and matches? The AS50 could blow chunks of wood off the tree, blow chunks of meat off the cow and its muzzle flash could start fires.

NFK 102 Posted August 20, 2012 We need to go deeper. We need an AS50 that shoots out another AS50, which then shoots out yet another AS50.
Pegz 49 Posted August 20, 2012 Everyone I play with prefers the DMR. The as50 is nice but its completely useless at night which is the best time to play.
