We shouldn't have shit loot like smoke grenades anymore. Every supermarket, fire station, and sniping spot should have a box of infinite as50 ammo. Also, the doublebarrel shotgun is OP, it should be removed because I see way too many of them.

Actually, the AS50 should have a machine gun magazine, plus a thermal sight, and bipod for recoil reduction when I'm just trying to automatically fire my 30 pound .50 caliber sniper rifle. Even though this would weigh well over 50 pounds, speed should not be reduced one bit to ensure balanced gameplay.

All I had was a handgun. I was walking along the edges of the forests preparing to enter Cherno, when I saw 2 bandits camping. Obviously duped to the max with NV's, AS50's, Thermals etc.

Killed both of them.

It was pretty funny, when first I snuck up upon them and started unloading my full makarov mag into the backhead of one of them, the other dude got so scared that he got up standing, started running in circles and suddenly just lay down on his stomach and started rolling around, fearing for his life. Oh god I wish I had recorded this.

These dupers must have been between 9 and 13 years old, with little-to-none experience with shooter games.. Yet.. How did they get their weapons?

No questions. Hide bodies without looting anything else than Hunting Knife, Box of Matches, Hatchet and two filled canteens of water.

They are only very common because of the tent bug/duping.

Every "rare" item is no longer rare at all. We all know this.

But complaining because you got killed by an AS50, and wanting them removed is just wrong.

I know your being sarcastic 'n all, but really? We all get killed by snipers occasionally. But yet we aren't all here making threads about it.

As for them being the only sniper rifle used...yes...largely by noobs and coast griefers. A few of my friends use M24 & Dragunov. And i myself use a DMR.

A complete stats reset for everyone, but only once the tent/duping bug is truly fixed is the best solution.

Then every man and his dog won't have an AS50, so no need to nerf or remove things.

This is just my opinion though, everyone is entitled to their own.

Yeah, pretty much this. It's sad to see clans dupe gear and give it to their members. It makes them think they're entitled to getting the best loot in the game just because they are in the clan. I've been in groups like this where almost everyday, a new member is asking for an AS50 every time he dies. It's pathetic the way groups treat new people in terms of showing them what Dayz is like. Especially when that new guy is going to now and forever start duping his gear because he thinks it's okay and it's easy.

How about an AS Special 50 Hearing Aid Technology? (you could hear footsteps a mile away, but if you fire the gun with the HAT on, it would fuck up your eardrums, rendering you deaf)

Or now that dogs are coming, how about AS Special 50 Feline Urine Kit (shoots a rubberbullet-type projectile, filled with what is essentially catpiss, which splits on impact, making the target not only very easy for your dog to track, but causes violent, uncontrollable vomiting, rendering the target practically harmless for some time. And quite pissed.)

I will just delete the AS50 from the game.

First, its a weapon for kids that wants to aim the cross centre and shoot like COD. A .50 caliber allows to do this for longer distance than a common 7.62 NATO, and since kinds dont want to bother with ballistic table that kind of rifle is popular.

Second, how many of you think to find such a rifle in the real world? The official dealer of Accuracy International in UK needs months to get one, I know because I asked about it. But I wonder why in a shitty russian region every tent I see has one or more inside.

Spawn with a AS50 is stupid, but not less than put it in a zombie apocalipse.
