Jaoai 16 Posted August 17, 2012 All you need to do is download the latest DayZ alpha patch from the site, updating the ARMA II patch is great, but not always needed. The hung Loading screen is only due joining a server that doesn't have the same DayZ version as you, or if you DayZ version isn't compatible with your current ARMA II patch...and for crying out load, don't use Six-Update/Six-Launcher. DayZ commander also has problems.I use the DayZ commander shortcut that was placed on my desktop, it starts the game then i join servers from inside the game. This goes A LOT faster as you don’t have restart your game everytime you try to join a server, which we all know can take a bit of a while to do.
Hawk24 94 Posted August 17, 2012 Seems like people these days can't figure out how to keep their game up-to-date, even with programs like DayZ Commander and Six Launcher they fail to install the latest patchesI'm still using ArmA II Launcher v1.4.0 and everything runs fineAll you have to do is keep the latest DayZ and Beta patch installed
