hey I'd just like to ask if the as50 thermal has been added back in since the 1.7.2.5 hot fix because i have actually found this 3 times since I've been to the barracks, and it isn't on a loot list for the barracks or the helicopter crashes so has the rarest of all weapons been added back in or is this hackers screwing with my head

It has not been added back into the game yet as well as the L85A2 AWS. Not too sure when theyre coming back, usually hackers spawn these as well as other older weapons, thats usually how they get caught hacking, they spawn an old weapon! (Its in the actual game but not yet lootable)

I read a post earlier that some guy found 3 L85A2 AWS's at a crash site... Who knows if its legit or not!

Also I logged in earlier and ghosted a couple of guys searching some tents.. One of them had AS50 TWS but I decided to just take his NVGs coz I'm kinda enjoying the M4 SD that I got off his mate haha

My thoughts are that theres been that many hacked in that thers just a whole mess of them in circulation at the moment.. People that hack items in are generally pretty shit so they quickly get punked, thus leaving some hacked weapons to the winnor!!

EDIT: I should probably stop saying 'ghosted' to infur 'killing' lol I KILLED a couple of guys, not server hopped em.

the hacking problem is probably the biggest issue with dayz right now but the as50 tws would be basicly called hacking same with the l85a2 aws i had an aws for a while and got booted from allot servers honestly both weapons until they are confirmed to be added back in are just more trouble than they're worth

L85 is legit , it was never been taking out. It was an issue that rocket bummed into. But corrected it later.

OK so the l85a2 aws is legit great news for me, ( going on a bear hunt for one ) so the possibility still exist that i could possibly find a fourth as50 tws this is an amazing day!

The L85 is still spawning 10000000% found a crashed heli a few days ago that had 3 l85s on the ground

US264 (or was it US246? I think the former), I killed 3 people and died at close range to another to find they had AS50 TWSs.

The three I killed I hid the bodies, leaving the weapons on them. The one that killed me was so close I was able to see the sight and even get two rounds off from my M16 before taking a .50cal round for my inability to get off those last two needed for a kill.

One of those I killed was nice enough to tell me that his clan was giving them out for free, supposedly duped to extremes after one of their members killed a scripter and took his rifle. Although, this same person did not tell me the clan name, nor did he have it in his own name. Side Chat on this server was helpful.

As far as I can tell, it hasn't been readded, instead people are hacking it in, and then clans are duping it once they have their hands on it.

I will continue to thin the numbers and hide bodies with such weapons.

Well I was on earlier and found a chopper with a AS50 TWS, L85A2 AWS, but with only sd mags and none for the as50, maybe a hacker for once is being nice and leaving them around, or they're spawning in again.

Two of our lads have L85's, they are legit. As for the TWS AS50's, have seen plenty of them around recently (hacked in I guess) but can't say I have died by them. I did get taken out by an L85 last night though.

Yeah my friend threw me an Army uniform the other day that he found on a UK server.. It's okay but its not like I blend in to much lol I just look at it as me sticking out MORE as people will be like "WTF IS HE WEARING LETS GET HIM!!"
