Definitely could have handled things a little better. From what I could tell you guys were getting shot from two directions,and if not, and it was just with the one guy in the hallway:

I don't condone third person, however I do join any server that has a lot of people and play. I can sometimes land into a nametag or a recruit server, so I can exactly critize. However you should have taken third person and lined yourself up against the door and peaked the corner with third person, and then quick corner him and poop all over his body.

If it was two people who were shooting you you guys should have been more careful. There is a building to the direction of the Hospital/Apartment area that you can go up. You could have gotten shot from there, or you could have gone up that building and have aclear view of the tower you climbed up on, so if they would have moved from their position you could set up and whack em when they climb the ladder anywhere.

If you were getting shot from the cylinders out on the roof that is connected by a small catwalk, then you should have been scouting, although to be fair he could have beenhiding and in third person. In fact, to be honest I wouldn't have shot at him from that far unless it was an AKM. Your AK74u has shorter range and you alerted them of your presence.
