Why is this server not more popular?

for some reason this server is never getting populated, and its not because of the location since we had a previous server there which was always filled

- very fast loading speed, very little lag ingame

- up to date with dayz and arma files

- no vehicle hoarders, hackers are banned instantly when admins are on(most of the time)

what am i missing here?

Because people have the server they already like? With more people comes the vehicle hoarders and script kiddies. Enjoy the balance.

Our server has suffered badly from this. Most people stopping by will never return to a server they got hacked on.

i doubt people remember where they got hacked the day before, also most people dont have a homeserver, they just click a random server every time

this should actually fix itself since less people on the server = a lot less chance to get hackers since they prefer full servers

I can agree with this however since that latest Battleye update, this has gone down quite a bit.. hackers anyways. It's been very satisfying seeing people get globally banned on my server for trying to hack.

I just noticed that you will get a battleye error when trying to connect through dayz commander, anyone know how to fix this?

its server sided since i dont get this when connecting to other servers

it has the following updates

I'll come by once in a while. I hope you've read up on the new scripts.txt, remoteexec.txt and createvehicles.txt and keep them updated with Dwarden's edits. If not, do it.

Got the new bans.txt, createvehicle.txt, remoteexec.txt and scripts.txt and will be testing cheatfinder tonight.

We do what we can. Unfortunately until we get better tools to identify exactly who is doing what, it's going to be very tricky.
