Bleeding Corpses

Recommended Posts

I was recently looting the fire station in Cherno when I found a dead player that was bleeding. This made me wonder, how long does a body bleed before it just becomes a corpse? Or do corpses stay bleeding for an indefinetly?

The only reason I am asking this question is because I heard that they stay bleeding until they de-spawn, however, the corpse was fresh and I was shot at shortly after looting it.

Are you sure he was dead?

There is a good chance you happened across an unconscious man that was bleeding out and needed medical attention - and you just took his beans and went on your way?

You're a monster!

I don't now, love it though, nothing gets the heart racing more then entering a building and seeing a fountain of blood pouring through the ceiling

No, he was definetly dead as I was able to study the body and it said "His name was... He died of a gunshot to the head".

+ There were flies.

Just a guess, but I think corpses only continue bleeding after death if they bled out. Aka weren't killed directly by a gunshot.

They don't stop bleeding, until hidden I believe.
