Do Friendly Servers work?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently in a server that declares itself as friendly (admin messages: friendly server, no killing and such) and was just wandering if those servers kind of enforce friendliness (autokill for player damage, no pvp damage or smth), or they are just normal servers?

HAH friendly servers.

One of the most, if not THE most important part of the game is PvP, and the feeling of not being safe at any moment. Zombies are trivial problems. A fully-armed psychopath looking to kill you and make love to your body? That's some scary shit that makes this game tense.

NEWS FLASH... not everyone plays like you...

since this isnt just a FPS game (its actualy a sandbox) , theres plenty of room for ALL play styles amongst the various servers.

but as far as the OP's question, NO i dont think there are currently any mechanics in game to prevent PVP..

They can't enforce non pvp. If they ban people for killing others, they will get shut down. They can however set up a private hive and lock it down, then invite other players to come hold their hand.
