A question regarding broken buildings and forest fires.

How does it happen? I've severally joined a server to see a key building completely demolished. I think it must be the M136 Rocket Launcher, but I want to know exactly what it is.

Also, these random forest fires, why do these appear?

The destroyed buildings are either rocket launchers or satchel charges.

As for forest fires, I don't know.

Easily could be hackers in both cases.

The fires are just glitches, they seem to happen more when a hacker is causing a ruckus around town.

Forest fires and city fires for that matter, are usually cause by large repeated explosions. Usually crashed aircraft, hacked in or otherwise.

The will eventually burn them selves out or a server reset will take care of them if they are lagging you too much. Also a chopper crashing into a building can take it down. I have collapsed a church with a smoke grenade.

Here's a forest fire caused by a crashed heli we found (fully fueled and repaired...likely a hack?). It barely touched a tree during landing in a clearing and forest was on fire for at least 45 mins., until I moved on. Could be seen from huge distance.

not sure about forest fires, but all buildings in cherno can be destroyed.
