Stuck on island!

So I joined a server and someone teleported everyone to an island, now im stuck there because theres an ocean next to it, what do I do? I tried to stay in the water for a while but I'm not drowning so I am stuck on the island, what do I do?:(:(

By island you mean Skalisty island? You can swim back to the coast.

Somewhere i have read that it can take up to 6 hours until you will from cold in the water...

log in and out and in as fast as possible on different servers. It SHOULD spawn you as you are on a beach somewhere.

Try joining a server running a different version of DayZ, it might bug and spawn you on the coast.

I tried swimming back to shore but its sooo far away it will take me hours to get there.. I dont know what Island im on theres not a sign or anything, its a pretty small one. Im standing still now trying to die from thirst and hunger but thats taking a while as well.

Swim to shore or request a boat to come pick you up. Good luck, swimming takes aaaages.

Not true, joining a number of servers is a quick time may spawn you on the coast of Chenarus, that's a good idea actually.

Ah it's one of those remote out of bounds islands.

There's a new anti-server hopping feature in the latest build, if the mod detects you reconnecting or switching servers too often, it will punnish you, by spawning you on the beach.
