Your kill counter display resets every time you change your skin. Your skin changes every time you log in as a hero or bandit. ergo, to see your kills you have to log out and back in while wearing an alt camo (Camo clothing or ghilli).

When you morph to the hero skin, your debug monitor gets wiped. It will show the stats after a relog again. And that is a hero skin with DLC:s installed, high resolution version.

You need to buy the DLC:s for that. Here's a comparison of camo -skin with/without the DLC:s. (from reddit)

If I'm correct, that's the Hero skin. Not good for stealth , but good for groups to identify yourself and to prove you're friendly. Good on you.

I would get the dlc's, just because it looks so epic, buuut... It's easier to see low rez camo than high rez. Not buying it unless every other player, especially bandits, also buy it.
