Umm, you banned someone for hacking because they have more script information? It looks like Video Settings and Battleye settings to me.

Yep and this clan got mad at us just because we found their camp, on two different servers. Both ahd helicopters, and guess what? They were in the same exact place in both servers.

I didn't banned due to extra info, I banned due to suspicious scripts. It was as soon as you and your clan came to our server that we started getting hacked and the effects have ruined our vehicle spawning and driven players away. I have no proof (yet) that the rest of you are hacking, which is why I JUST banned [D2A]Tai. If you're not happy with this, you can shell out the $75/month to run your own server, or find one of the other 2000+ servers to play on. Otherwise, the rest of you can continue top play until and unless I find proof of your cheating.

Yes, obviously we are hacking because we found your camps/vehicles and took them. This makes a lot of sense. We came to the server looking for a fight, and all you did is accuse us of hacking and ran away. We followed you to your new server and continued to PLAY THE GAME on it. It's called being a bandit group, please read about the server hosting guidlines before you go on about how much you pay to run a server. You are attempting to drive us out, yet you are only further proving that you don't know what DayZ is all about. We're bandits, get over it.

If you don't like the hardcore nature of your MERCENNARY server, do us all a favor and find a different game.

What do you mean 'your vehicle spawning was affected'? If you are referring to your missing white truck, I took off with it once you swapped it for my UAZ (and two ATVs). This is a blatant example of admin abuse with absolutely no proof except for a few lines of standard scripts... What a shame.

Ahh yes, this gem. Just more evidence that BBF is not prepared for DayZ.

BTW: This post was from a few weeks ago before they shut down their first server. Now that they have their second one up, they sure did live up to their desire to start banning anyone who finds their camps.

They are all scripts run by the Arma 2 engine, legitimately.

Again, I'm not going to engage your trolling. Post an admin abuse thread if you care to. If someone from the DayZ team tells me that your scripts are harmless, that's fine. We've been hacked about 4 times a day or more for the last 10-14 days (that I've caught). I have banned THOSE hackers as well. I gave you the additional courtesy of posting the proof. I will continue to ban any hackers I find however.

They aren't hackers - Arma 2 is based on scripts. Those are scripts run by DayZ itself.

You're a bad admin, plain and simple.

People like you don't deserve to host servers.

All I'm saying, is that you might want to review a few actual hacking logs and compare them, because obviously you don't know what to look for. You could very well be banning innocent players.

The courtesy? You really should review the server hosting guidlines. You are REQUIRED to provide proof, even moreso when it is requested.

If I was that upset by them, why just ban the one? They've been coming onto our server for weeks now. They paint a pretty picture, but they're really the least of my concerns aside from the hacking. I could care less where they play as long as they don't hack our server.

I'm at my wits end with all the hacking and cheating. If someone in authority tells me the scripts are harmless, I'll lift the ban. Otherwise, it stands. I'm not here for the drama. I'm about to the point where I'm just going to shut the server down and let someone else deal with the hassle anyhow.

If you take the time to learn how to properly police your logs, it becomes quite easy. You go on about hacking, yet you have literally no evidence or proof of myself or my clan members hacking. Spoiler alert: You can't find any because there isn't any; we aren't cheaters. I'm not here for drama either, we enjoy banditry and you just brought the conflict to a whole new level.

I don't think there has ever been an issue with combat.. with D2A or anybody else, for that matter. The issues began to arise when you guys simultaneously located every hidden camp (we are talking NUMEROUS hidden camps) within minutes of each other... it was not coincidence you guys (and only a few of you) managed to find every single camp that quickly... yes this could be "speculating" as you say- but I don't think you could have found every campsite (which are located at extreme distances from each other on far reaches of the province) in the amount of time it took you.

We had those camps for ages with no issue... we had a very populated server, to boot. Why suddenly when D2A shows up, do all our camps get ransacked simultaneously when never before had we had an issue with a server that was maxed out at peak hours every single day of the week?.. How is it that you always seemed to know where we were at any given time? We had a helicopter once... flew it thousands upon thousands of meters away from where you engaged us... then moved a second time after that, even... and yet when we left the LZ, we are ambushed in the middle of nowhere by every single one of you?.... how do you guys manage to cover such vast gaps of space as one unit even after half of you died in the first firefight? we were likely over 10,000 meters from any spawn point your dead comrades could have gotten... yet there you all were within 20 minutes to ambush us.

There are countless instances to reference that are more than suspicious.... I'm all for gang rivalry and fights... plenty of other public guests on our server have expressed their enjoyment playing here and that they enjoy engaging us in firefights... Its also refreshing with them, because somehow they don't always know where we are everytime... or see us coming from 8km out. Or coming back fully equiped with AS50s and ghillies and vehicles even after you are killed... and somehow I come across a weapons crate spawned on the beach shortly after you guys log off for the night... I dunno... I just find it suspcious... we all do.

I would define admin abuse as using his powers to disadvantage our guests and give us the upper hand... banning for the lulz, etc... we banned one member of your clan due to the scripts... if its proven that these are not hacked scripts, then it would be revoked... If it was a matter of hiding from you all, we would have banned all D2A from our server to "hide from you" as you say... If a higher up says "hey guys, these scripts are legit" then you will get our apology... but its our honest belief that these are suspicious scripts and we are holding out until it is verified... that is not abuse... Is taking someone to jail due to being a suspect abuse of power or a reasonable precaution?... This sounds more like a cryfest than anything else... if you truly are not hacking, this will get resolved and if we are abusing our power, our server will get shut down... We are willing to take that risk due to our convictions that you are not playing the game properly, as you claim to be doing.

As far as the spawns go (to answer the question): ever since people, maybe you guys, came onto our server and started spawning their own vehicles- vehicles no longer spawn properly or persist through server resets.... I do not think winter is referring to his truck... We are referring to the fact that we just repaired a helicopter last night and flew it around- landed it.. saved it.. logged int oday... flew it some more... saved it... server restart came- and BOOM... helicopter is no longer there after server reset... this has happened numerous times with numerous different vehicles... No it is not user error, as we have been repairing and using vehicles for some time now... we understand the mechanics involved...

What we don't understand is why our vehicles randomly decide to go from being a GAZ to a offroad pickup truck after server reset.... then next reset the truck turns into a bicycle... or disappears all together....

My only guess is that spawned vehicles from scripts has something to do with screwing up the vehicle count in the database and prevents them from spawning properly or persisting....

Again, i say... who knows... maybe you AREN'T hacking- but until these scripts are deciphered by someone who knows for sure... we are stamping D2A as highly suspicious.. we are willing to put our server on the line over this... so either be part of the solution.. or continue being a part of the problem... but keep in mind that we have not banned anyone else from this server without probable cause to do so...

Lets grow up here.... theres plenty of other servers you guys can play on until this is resolved... if it is dropped, come on back and play with us all you want... you guys are awfully upset over something so minor... especially for being banned from a server you have no investments on... what have you lost other than your dignity on this forum right now?... chill out and let this run its course for now.

Hey a majority of your vehicle loses were due to D2A finding them and blowing them up, BBF set camps up always in the North East ,almost touching the last grid.

I find it pretty funny that you bring up the day that we found your "vehicle depot." In fact, we didn't find you, you found US. We were moving north and regrouping at the time. You drove your ural straight through both of our groups, it was near the dam if you recall. Obviously, we opened fire and killed you all. We then continued almost directly north, and ran straight in to your vehicles. To this day, that was the most fun that we have all had on this game. I am not going to give away our tactics for locating camps and scouring the map, because that would just be silly. However, hiding all of your camps/vehicles on the edge of the map is pretty obvious. We lterally had to go from the far northeast to the far southwest and found probably 8+ camps. You can stamp us as suspicious, and now that you have posted that I can see why, but it all boils down to the fact that you responded so violently. Shutting down a server because of us, really?

In response to your vehicles turning in to different things as of late, I have no idea. We haven't even been playing on your server for the past week because it has been almost a ghostland due to your new settings (which I love, by the way!).

We have been running together as a cohesive group for quite a while now. We are pretty good at what we do.

I suppose we've had such a strong reaction to this specific event because of how you have treated our clan. You declared war, we brought war. Then you ran away and we followed. You banned me from your forums for no valid reason, we had great conversations on your teamspeak. I thought we were pals for a while, then one day I log on and apparently the gates of hell opened.

Oh well, when the ban gets lifted we're going to have quite a bit of fun, to say the least. See you in game.

So yes... you blew up our buses with satchel charges... how many of you died in the process?... We shut down our server because it was saturated in duped gear, broken spawns, and daily hacker encounters that resulted in us being teleported to thunderdome, throw into the sky, randomly have our mags fall out of our pockets and so forth.... We started a new server with mercenary level difficulties to discourage those who are not devoted to the game... We saw a dramatic drop in hacker occurrences for quite some time... I assume its because its harder for them to drive their spawned vehicles in first person without slamming into a tree or dying from zombies (as we saw D2A doing quite frequently when you first came onto our new server).

So yes... you guys are l33t gamers that cannot make it past the 49 minute life expectancy in a mercenary difficulty server... you owned us, alright. The only thing you did to own us is blow up our vehicles while they were undefended... bravo... you guys are regular navy seals here...

Why is it that you guys left after we made our new server?... you guys came to it... tried playing mercenary for a while... kept dying... and then disappeared for 2 weeks until we tagged the server as BBF again... you can't tell me that you didnt know it was our server when you came in with names like "[D2A] HEY BBF"....

You killed us a total of about 4 times,

2 in a car, 1 at your bus site, and 1 one me by running me over.

We lost ONE person at the busses and that was a lucky shot.

BTW their is something called game tracker, and someone named *not*mildot who led us to your server where you tried to hide using russian names

To be honest, we were waiting for you guys get to a foothold on your new server so we could come back and raid it. Obviously this worked. Like I said, once the ban gets lifted you can expect us in game. It's going to be a great time.
