Randomly Killed

Hi everyone.

I have done some searching and couldn't find anything.

I was on DE 861 in the middle of nowhere and just died. I wasn't shot, or fell off a cliff or anything like that, I just fell over and died instantly. The exact same thing happened to my friend, he didn't hear any gun shots or anyone around (neither did I). We wern't close together and we died within 10-15 seconds of each other.

Is there any way I can get my character back?

OK, fair enough if I was shot I wouldn't care, thats just the way of the game, but this is completely unfair. >:(

If it's possible, please let me know what info that's needed.

I assume this was either done by an admin or cheater.

Sorry mate, nothing you can do there. Try not to get attached to your gear and you'll enjoy the playtesting for a longer period of time ;)

Admins can't do that, it was either a hacker or a bug, it happens.

For f*ck sake.

I do like the mod, and hope it grows well but this really is a game destroyer.

I know it's still alpha and all that but if cheaters can ruin your game that quickly, you almost find it pointless to play again.

I managed to get back to where I was, but my body had gone. Most likely it was a cheater who joined, saw my kills/gear, killed me by cheating and took everything/hid my body.

Hopefully in the future it won't be possible for cheats to do this.

My friend was at the bottom of a hill, in a bush, prone near a stand alone building in the middle of nowhere.

When he randomly died, I was on a motor bike on the other side of that hill.

If we were sniped, there's no way he could see both of us.

Also, as I said, when we died we weren't bleeding. I imagine if we were shot we would be bleeding.

Same thing happened to me yesterday i instantly got killed in the dbug plains when i was loading in to a server and respawned on the coast with nothing not even a starter backpack.

People are genuinely nasty with sniper rifles, i can happily hit a moving target at over 1000m with an AS50 first time, they hear nor see anything, most likely outcome of your demise was this, a pair of skilled snipers with AS50's or a couple of non skilled with the AS50 TWS and you are a dead man walking....
