Women in a game does not equal Rape

:@ I have been playing happily for some time now enjoying everything about this game. The only thing I don't like is some of the people in the forums.

At the first mention of female skins being added to the game it was immediately followed by over 17 posts including rape in them.

Rape is serious, not something you joke about.

For those of you that find it funny, and will just feed off the qq of this post. There is something wrong with you, and should first encounter it before you joke about it. See how funny it is when you have blood shit and semen leaking from you after you have had your self respect stolen from you.

It's a game, if it's possible, it can be done and it will be and a rapist is no worse than a murderer, it's equally bad and there are thousands of murders a day in Day Z.

Most players come from countries that have some form of Free Speech.

Racial slurs, hate speech, talk of rape, murder, whatever shouldn't be limited.

There is a reason Rocket allows cursing on this forum.

Remove the comfort zone as best as possible.

If we're in a world that is devoid of society such as Day Z, I'd be sure rape is not only probable but guaranteed.

It happens every time the power goes out in a city for more than a few hours, or whenever a disaster hits.

You're playing in a world that has not even a hint of structure, deal with it, even if it is sick.

Perhaps it's nice to have a gritty forum for a gritty game, but it seems to me most people posting such things are just too much into their characters. Yeah, all for total immersion and all, but if you start to mistake your ingame character for yourself on an internet forum, there is something wrong with you.

I think that'd add an interesting element to the game, you'd not only be butthurt because of dying. But your ingame character would literally be analy devastated.

Good point, but murder is a release whereas rape is not something you can put in the ground and mourn. Rape is stealing self respect, stealing another persons security in themselves, their emotions, often times their mental health.

Murder is worse than rape. We joke about Murder all the time. I don't see why rape should get special treatment on the list of atrocities people can inflict on each other.
