Woman Bandit

Is the Woman bandit skin functioning? Haven't had a chance to test myself, I just noticed the code/gfx file in the more recent files.

I imagine not. There were issues with ghillie/camo skins for them also.

Something to do with base Arma 2 and the way DayZ coded reskinning your character (ie: lose all your stats because you basically spawn as a fresh character with a new look)

Ah, I thought the issue was just that they never even created the models for the character. Interesting that they left the code in, though it could be just prep code for future releases. They have a bunch of dog code in 1.7.2.5 as well.

according to rocket in the reddit ama they wont be doing anything about female skins in the mod, but it will be fixed for the stand alone. i do believes

I believe the next patch will be 1.7.3 with dogs, this was posted in the forums and the last line (http://i.imgur.com/xAvdf.jpg) indicates a probability of inclusion for female bandit skin. So one can either presume it will go-line 1.7.3 or sometime thereafter.

Or this information is completely fake and useless. Take it with a grain of salt seeing as it wasn't posted 'officially' here in DayZ threads, but rather reddit.

Nah, I think I saw somewhere rocket confirming the dogs for 1.7.3. I can tell you for a fact that a ton of code for it is present in the DayZ files now. There was even code for it in 1.7.2.4, but not as much as there is in 1.7.2.5
