BudiJ 13 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Consoles are never better than PC hardware. Consoles are extremely compatible with it's own set and specific generic hardware - but they've never been more powerful than the mediocre available hardware for PC.Luckily quality of a game isn't dependant on hardware. While I do think game like DayZ can't be as good as PC version on consoles. Console version can still be fun too, just different. Some might even enjoy it more than PC version. I'd like to see DayZ on WiiU =) Ubisoft is actually making a zombie game at the moment not so cleverly named ZombiU. But it does look like a fun game, to me it seems that the controller use in it is clever and interesting. Im pretty sure PC DayZ will be it's own game and not a console port, so I am not worried at all. This wont hurt. Edited August 16, 2012 by BudiJ
ironman Tetsuo 181 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Did the xbox/andriod versions of Minecraft have any affect on it's PC counterpart?NoStop getting your knickers in a twist over nothing.Consoles are never better than PC hardware. chunkeymonkey79 86 Posted August 16, 2012 Care to find me a PC that costs under £190 that will run BF3?Ahem, you forgot 'well'. Consoles run BF3, but not well.Sure, consoles can run BF3, but they can't run it as good as PC's. I have BF3 on PC, runs flawlessly on Ultra, with the 64 player battles, all the things PC's get, etc.Console: Reduced map size, poor controls, reduced player count in matches, lower graphical capabilities, etc.I can go on. I know a top spec PC shits on all the consoles but that wasn't the question. You missed mine, I'm saying that BF3 doesn't run well on PS3 at all. I have several friends who are console gamers who own both, and they think it's a terrible game experience. To answer yours, you are right that you cannot find/build a PC under 190 that will run. I respect that most console gamers either don't have the money, time, or technical knowledge to build/operate a PC. That's why they go to console.
