SinglePlayer Arma 2

Recommended Posts

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this but it seems the most appropriate.

I've installed dayz and it seems to work fine but the latest version of the mod disables singleplayer for some reason don't know if this helps the mod work or something but is there anyway to reenable singleplayer mode? I'm not saying singleplayer dayz because I know there are loads of posts about that and I don't want that. Just want to know if it can be dine while dayz is still enabled.

Hello there

I too would like to be able to circumvent this.

But, for the moment the best thing to do is just take dayz out of your command line and boot up vanilla.

Go into the expansions section and deactivate @DayZ. The it will restart and when the game launches again you will be able to access singleplayer

DemonOnWheels, Hello and welcome to DayZ forums,

The reason why you cannot run singleplayer Arma 2 is because it is the DayZ launcher of Arma 2 run Arma through steam by double clicking and you will be able to go into all the main parts of Arma 2 without DayZ impacting on it.

I hope this helps,

Regards, Jim

Isn't this just because people start up via six/commander or whatever so it shows only the MP option, but when you start Arma via the desktopshortcut o/w it will show single player?

No, even if you run the game manually with DayZ enabled, the singleplayer option will be disabled.
