How to get the humanity up?

I got a question.

I played on a high populated server and found my self a pistol and then ran straight to those two firehouses in elektro, but both times I meat on a player killing on sight. So I had to kill him, first kill was a bandit and I didn't mind but later on I met up with a group on two some asked if I were friendly, I said yes then they started to shoot at me, but I was lucky and killed them both and got an akm with 3 mags, but ofcourse now I got 2 murders so I turned into a bandit and i got the bandit skin.

Is it anyway to get rid of that skin without dieing?

Is the skin based on my humanity? If so, how to get it up on + again?

I think killing zombies gives you a bit of humanity. And also I think healing other people with various medical supplies. The latter might be tricky when you've got a bandit skin.

And I just morphed like 30 min ago, so it's very much in the game.

Healing players, removing wire fences + tank traps, fixing cars and just general running about killing zombies will help you gain humanity

Killing 1 survivor will get you -2k

You need 5000 humanity to get the hero skin.

It does not for some reason but it's always useful to kill them :P
