Ixnay Hombre 10 Posted May 28, 2012 For the American users, can you please add an option to change Celcus to Farenheit? Im not asking it to be F*, but just an option to change it. It would help us out alot.(Btw if you want to know how to change C to F just multiply by than than add 8 or something, I forget.)
Tassadarh 2 Posted May 28, 2012 I'm not even sure it's Celsius... if my temp is 42 I guess I'm gonna have a bad time...BTW I wonder: Why does everybody in the world use the Celsius except Cayman Island, Belize and USA?
Reliqua 10 Posted May 28, 2012 It wouldn't hurt the DayZ players to do a little math. :PF = 9 / 5 C +

dharion@drahl.com 5 Posted May 28, 2012 [...]My apologies to all the people living in those countries.Yet I do remember rocket said the temperature had to be in %... I think I read it in the patchnotes or something...No, the patch notes said it was in percentage and that that was fixed to be shown in degrees, not the other way around. gregor (DayZ) 95 Posted May 28, 2012 Imagine, you're an American tourist, who ended up in this inferno Cherno. And you're trying to survive. It's hard. But we believe in You.

Anyway I think we should remove the temperature value and stick with the temperature icon like we do with hunger and thirst.(BTW when I logged in right after the update my temperature icon was white... bugged or I'm pretty screwed up?)Imagine' date=' you're an American tourist, who ended up in this inferno Cherno. slimlacy 19 Posted May 28, 2012 Atm the moment it is just 42 C of something, just don't let it drop to bad, it doesn't help knowing Celcius with that number, because 42 Celcius in a human body... Should be dead, 40 is a very very bad fever, 2 degrees more is eigther hell or deathNormal human body temp is around 36-37, most humans start getting feverish at around the 38 C, already 40 in fever means, DOCTOR NAO! logan23 118 Posted May 28, 2012 I say we should keep it as Celsius,...We Americans could learn about the Celsius system and kill zombies at the same time. Education meet survival =-D
Ixnay Hombre 10 Posted May 28, 2012 Im not saying CHANGE it, im saying just add an option to change it to Farenheit, for conveince.
slimlacy 19 Posted May 28, 2012 I know, point was though, that at the moment, it is simply 42 units of warmth in the body of the ingame char. No need for farenheit before the 42 reseambles realistic figures ;)

scoffield77@gmail.com 192 Posted May 28, 2012 I know how to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, for those who don'tif C is 42. then 42x1.8+32=107.6F But I don't think most of us have the time to survive and convert C to FHonestly in a survival situation you would only know a rough estimate of how hot/cold it was, we don't all carry a thermostat, I've never met someone who did carry one as a EDC.I suggest get rid of the whole system, and replace it with scaldinghotwarmcoolcoldfreezing
