So Who Do You Think The Hackers Really Are?

I, like many of you, have become tired of all this hacky nonsense that just seems to keep grieving us and i have found myself often wondering who really has the time to just sit there and grief people online using scripts.

And when i say grief, i don't mean the ones who make themselves invincible/ invisible and not the ones who spawn helicopters, cars and weapons as i can see why that makes the experience more enjoyable (though very unfair to others) i am referring to the ones who jump onto a server, kill everyone and then leave to hit the next server.

Now we can all assume trolls, script kiddies, care bears who raged at the PVP etc. are the most likely candidates but i have pondered upon a new theory as to who these mystery men truly are.

Now i seem to remember recently a certain 'rival' title being announced and since then the number of hacking incidents have skyrocketed to levels not seen before. Now i have no evidence to support this thesis but ever since i heard about War Z the amount of insta-kill hacks i have witnessed, heard about, read about on these forums have reached near ridiculous heights.

So i'm not the conspiracy theory type but does anyone else agree that the ones who truly profit from all us aggravated gamers in the run up to DayZ standalone vs WarZ, are those producing that 'other' game.

Anyone else agree or have their own views on this?

When are people gonna learn WarZ is being produced by a game company that has NO games produced or released before and only two screenshots from the supposed game. I give that game a 98% chance of never being released unless another company with game experience buy the rights. Why do people keep hyping that BS?

The bad thing about this mod it is built on a game engine that was specifically designed to be changed ie. script in different things for different training simulations. This in addition to the explosion in popularity of Dayz allows people with very limited knowledge hack/script etc the game so easily. The original game has cuased this and should be quashed a lil when standalone comes out.

I won't lie, I've considered the same thing.. Hire (probably don't even have to pay, just find fanboys) a small team to just completely break the game right before you release your very similar game. Still, I've thought about aliens having bases on the moon too, its a nice idea but probably not ture.

In reality the hackers are mostly group players, "friends" of clans and server admins. They just set up a 2nd "hacking" account to do all the dirty work, then when the bans and threats start getting thrown around they use the lines "None of my clan has ever hacked in anything". I find it hard to believe, with all the admins abusing their power, that they wouldn't also buy "hacks". I mean, they are paying $50+ a month to host their own server to cheat, but you don't think they would buy a hacking program for $30, or a new CD key? Its cheaper than running your own server, and once you have them just pick a server and you now run it.

People who hack and glitch for equipment and vehicles = Gamers of the current generations mindset. They'd rather have an easy ride than feel anything the game was supposed to emphasize.
