The ammunition for the m4a1 cco sd

I know that the gun takes stanag sd magazines, but does it take stanags, and if so, does this affect the range, and noise of the gun. Thanks!

Nope, only Stanag SD mags for the M4 SD. Wouldn't make much sense to fire non-sd rounds with a supressed gun.

What do u mean reall? on dayz wiki it doesnt say it takes stanag, and my mates got all thr stanags on him, so i couldnt be arsed to switch around ammo. Does it affect the noise? if so, what kinda noise, moderate/low? thanks

Nop , you can load only SD ammo for the cco sd.

Silenced M4's only take the Stanag SD ammo. Non silenced M4's take either Stanag or Stanag SD.

friend told me using sd in non-sd weapons will either affect damage or zeroing will be off, i forgot which one.
