Stickyfloyd 2 Posted August 14, 2012 I have been playing for a few weeks now and it has been a brilliant experience , the only downer on the game IMO is the lack of coop between people , this often as we all know would end in death , more times than not . However after being murdered at least 7 times during my time in dayz , today I was on the way from the west side in desperate need of some chow , I was flashing and losing blood , I was heading to the supermarket when I heard gunfire , I paused or a sec but the need for food was to great , I approached the store and hailed on the mic that I was friendly , to my utter amazement the dude did not shoot me as I entered the premises, he wasn't on comms so we spoke briefly via chat , this was enough time to find my most needed food and stop the blink of doom!This encounter has indeed raised my hopes of humanity and it proves not all players are complete BASTARDS!!Thank you for reading;)Flame Away 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
BlksnshN 127 Posted August 14, 2012 I have spoken to 4 people in my 2 weeks of DayZ. 2 were planned meets, 1 for a trade and 1 for me to give some morphine. 1 was a random running through the woods, I said friendly and warned about a sniper in the direction he was heading. We worked together to try to find that sniper. The last guy I ran into was in the market in Cherno. I said "friendly" and he replied with, "SEE YA NIGGAH!" and he ran away. Colditz 54 Posted August 14, 2012 Go ahead and flame me, but I kill on sight, no exceptions, even better if you're bleeding and crawling on the ground with your broken legs and no ammo, time enough for me to get my hatchet and kill you while I play "hip to be square" over the mic. I don't trust people at all, I've been killed many times, sometimes after respawning when I had nothing on me, just for the pure enjoyment of killing someone, these grim murders have turned me into a bloodlusty beast, I swore to kill everyone I come across at all costs, no matter the circumstances. Ash_Lee 2 Posted August 14, 2012 Lol a small ray of hope indeed, through a pretty large vast cloud of poop covering it up. Well at least the "friendly" ones are just that much more a sight for sore eyes when you do come across, still have had the unfortunate turns of events which usually just gets me shot at, but hey >_>; not everyone knows how to just ask for mah damn beans vs. taking. I've met more friendlies pretty well stocked and geared though in the woods vs' nekkid new characters/lives anywhere else, specially Cherno and what not, enjoyed your story though sir!
