Brian700 4 Posted September 17, 2012 @tickle:Script Restriction #41 means its the 41st rule listed in the file, not the 41st line. Each line that has // is commented out, and it doesn't count. If you go to line 41, and move up till you find the first line with //, it should have a + and a number at the end. This is how many lines you need to add to account for comments. So if, for example, the next one says +5, then you'll go to line 41, then count 5 lines down - the rule would be in line 46. Hope this helps.
marrr 6 Posted September 17, 2012 Guys, anyone else having trouble using the later versions of scripts.txt. Everytime I use one of the versions found on http://code.google.c...se/#git/filters my server starts kicking all the players who are logged in with script restriction #41 and # 45.Same problem here. Frop 33 Posted September 17, 2012 By the way, I don't know if this has been done yet, but we really should get a listing up of servers using the CBL.

Frop 33 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Why make it easier for hackers to avoid. Bad juju this idea.Well, that's a depressing train of thought right there. The whole concept revolves around giving the remainder of the active community a bunch of slightly safer and better maintained servers (given that CBL servers are usually running the most up-to-date filters as well). If this actually discourages the amateur scripters from joining that's just a bonus, but yes, it will inevitably provide a challenge for the more technically adept cheaters. I don't think you can't do the same with sandbags however and having a few dozen seems like quite the tall order. I'd ban him and report him for the CBL. Frop 33 Posted September 19, 2012 very obviously, but are his means legit?I'd say "no" given the sheer amount of sandbags.

aenima 4 Posted September 20, 2012 (edited) me personally, I've never found one except in a V3S, it had some in it's gear, but I don't remember how many. I need to be sure before I ban those guys. I think they used a bug to duplicate their stuff but how can i prove it, i have database access. Edited September 20, 2012 by aenima

Frop 33 Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) I'd guess a vehicle is taking damage (hugging a tree or somewhere in the water), but without a coordinate it's quite useless (and I haven't seen this variation yet myself).Maybe these shed some light on the subject?http://www.google.nl...iw=1416&bih=808 Edited October 10, 2012 by Frop
quatermass 9 Posted October 11, 2012 Many thanks for that pointer. That makes sense.I've noticed over time that objects like tents, vehicles tend to move a little everytime the server is restarted. So I guess this one vehicle was resting near a tree or something and was hitting it over and over again..It generated 10s of megabytes of log files! :)Thanks very much, you made my admin life a good bit easier! :D
darkstar01 1 Posted December 6, 2012 New anti-cheat features? how about banning people who aren't hacking, not by the hundreds of cd-keys, but by the thousands. Sounds like a money maker for Bohemia Interactive, wonder if BattlEye gets kick backs for every cd-key banned. (I was banned for no reason after 6 hours of gameplay, first time playing, never received a reason, just got a Global Ban, I never downloaded any other files other than the DayZmod, Arma 2, and Arma 2: OA. Thats IT!.)I suggest that everyone just implement scripts to check for hacked items rather than having a program that scans more than just arma 2's memory space.BattlEye has been banned in all US federal institutions. Because programs like BattlEye, wow's guardian, etc.. go too far, they invade peoples privacy, whats next, does BattlEye start using your webcams?if BattlEye detects a virus on your system does that automatically ban you from all servers? there REALLY is no way to know. BattlEye has no details on what it detects, and what it does not, nor does it tell you what it does not scan.BattlEye neglects to say all of the ways one can be banned, it really seems like a dictatorship, BattlEye would seem more at home in China? no? BE doesn't violate your privacy in any way2. If you are banned for no reason, send an email to BE3. Why would they say how they ban you? You think they should reveal everything to the public so cheaters can see it too? BE bans you if you use a hack. Uninstall. We can have the admin delete your account here so you will not be traced anymore and we will not have to put up with your crazy "Big brother is watching" attitude. Battleye did it's job on getting your lazy ass that wanted a free Cd-key to play. Now if you legally bought the two ARMA programs you can get Valve to talk to BE and get you a new key. You have no idea what a dictatorship means you little brat.
Para1972 0 Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) So i was playing earlier and got kicked 2 times right after I combined ammo and reloaded and got in my truck and drove a little ways then got out and aimed at zeds and get message "you have been kicked for addweaponcargo, have no clue why this is happening. And I have looked it up on goggle and seems alot think it has to do with hacking in items, but like I said all i did was recombine ammo quite a few times to keep the half and almost empty mags off me, and then reload and got in my truck drove to next destination and aimed at zeds and was kicked. Guess i will not use the recombine feature anymore, go back to the old way, never reload till empty, just happening on one server, none of the rest I have played is kicking me. maybe the server has a line messed up? He needs to edit the BEC scripts to avoid kicking players who are not doing anything illegal.Just email him. :)
