PDW is my handgun of choice now. Takes four or five different ammo types and all are pretty common. Full auto gives me a "panic button" if I ever need it, and it's just as quiet as a g17 and quieter than a revolver or m1911.

If SD ammunition is loaded into the PDW, the gun will not attract zombies although other players will hear it as though unsilenced shots were fired.

I agree, I carry a Bizon for zeds and an M107 to scare off players, no real need for 1911 anymore.

Just wish we could convert and put makarov rounds in the Bizon, they use the same cartridge irl.

Don't think so. The 1911 changes that people are referring to are the result of a patch from BI, not the Day Z devs.
