ERROR: Something went wrong checking for updates! Firewall configured properly?

Recommended Posts

ok so i tried everything to update to 1.7.2.5 but im getting problems after problems.

i have followed many threads but i cannot find the solutions to my problem which i think is the cause of all this.

basically im trying to use six updater however I am getting an error message.

i also tried replacing my @dayz folder but i cannot get it to work. tried reinstalling six launcher and still no hope. DayZ commander does not work for at all and get the error message "has stopped working"

im out of ideas guy and will appreciate the help!

also when i try to validate my files through steam i get the error message "1 file has failed to validate"

does anyone know the solution?

Stop using sixlauncher, get DayZCommander or update the files manually and launch through arma, 1.7.2.5 is pre release, if you use sixlauncher your files will be overwritten with 1.7.2.4

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons

That's where my files go.
