Some trouble..

Everytime i turn my computer on, Ill try and boot up day z. And there is always something wrong. Whether its "Bad serial" or just no servers popping up or just not loading at all. I have to update day z commander like EVERY day. Is that an issue? It seems that ARMA 2 under the day z commander "Versions" Is always "Out of date" Idk what is going on.. So today i woke up at 10am. decided i wanted to play dayz for a bit. And now its 1:14 pm and day z still wont work.. Any suggestions? Thanks

When I have issues like this with any piece of software I always do the same thing. Full uninstall of everything, then reinstall. (duh). However, with a game like DayZ, I would definitely follow one of the install guides out there, just to be extra safe. Let us know if you make any progress!

It takes FOREVER to install arma 2 and arma 2 AO though on steam.. Like it takes my computer almost all day lol. And even then, i have a feeling this will happen again though. I was just playing it yesterday! i dont understand!

So me AND my boyfriend just downloaded the patch for "Day z commander" under ARMA 2. And now Neither of our computers are running day z.. i dont understand? I went to versions and it said arma 2 was out of date... Idk what to do?

Search for a guide on google. There are many out there which will take you through the installation process. There are even some in the New Player section. You don't need to have the actual beta patch for Arma II unless it's required by DayZ. Mine is pretty old and I am running the mod without any problems.

As Knax has told you deinstall and reinstall following a guide. That would be the best way.
