AU 5 Invisible hacker North of Petrovka

AT TIME: 8:42pm GMT +10 13-AUG-2012

AT SERVER: AU 5

WHAT HAPPENED:

I'd connected to AU 5 at about 8:15pm (GMT+10) tonight - located in forest. Heard footsteps very close-by, no visual. Logged out to confirm if it was any of our crew who were on Teamspeak, but not in the same channel. None of our guys.

Didn't log on again until the server was restarted at 8:30pm. I logged in once the server was back online, and relocated 50m to the west, lay prone and observed the area. Shortly after (8:42pm) I heard footsteps, and began recording in FRAPS footage at full res. Looked around, to my left - and a satchel charge had appeared there. I panicked and rolled away. I then rolled back towards it, and tried to defuse it - no menu appeared for me to interact with it. Then heard foosteps running away, still no visual on the player. The charge was then detonated.

I was logging GUIDS on connection. I have a list of GUIDs for players who were connected from 8:15pm to 8:45pm

Nothing, no. Due to the reduced logging level in 1.7.2.5, no useful data is available to be logged. We have been working on logging layer 3 traffic, however it needs to be fine-tuned and was not implemented.

I was on the same server and around 7:47pm last night (AUS time) my group and I suffered the same thing, after destroying a camp and looting some cars we started heading west to petrovka when we hit around the barn west of Krasnostav we (currently in cars) noticed some horn beeping, neither me or my partner had clicked causing the horn, then footfalls on the forest floor.

Then stopping to see what was making the sound we noticed 3 satchel charges planted, we quickly logged out and waited. came back in a few mins later only to suffer the same thing. The time now was 8:01pm then again at 8:16 we moved the cars again only to suffer the satchels again, upon logging out my partner said she heard someone in direct chat laugh before logging out.

I cant confirm the laugh but the satchels were real enough.

after server had reset around 8:30 we logged back in only to hear invis footfalls again and left for the night
