1.7.2.5 is outdated?

So on my Six Launcher after the latest update, it is running 1.7.2.4, but when I try to join a server that says 1.7.2.5 It's outdated?

It must mean your arma beta is outdated, you can either update to the new beta or find a server that is still running the old beta (which is what I do because my Arma unit hasnt updated to the new beta yet)

1.7.2.5 is the most recent update. You have 1.7.2.4 as Six hasn't released the newest, most recent DayZ update.

If you want to play 1.7.2.5. you need to manually download and install it.

just use dayz Commander as it has the newest patches and offers a much better filter system along with the ability to favorite servers.

Stop using sixlauncher. 1.2.7.5 is pre-release so sixupdater doesn't have it yet.

and if you have used six launcher after putting the torrent files into yoru add ons folder youre screwed as the six launcher nukes the add ons you added. reverting back to 1.2.7.4 but it dosent remove all the new version files. so you cant join a server even if you delete the new files, as six launcher duped them into another folder. the quickest way i was told is to do a total uninstall re install of arma 2 arma 2 oa, and day z and the arma beta 95883. and then make some folders put them here and there. and its supposed to work. im not going to do this its just not worth the trouble, if they cant make a simple exe installer for the updates, im not even going to take the time. nice app the six launcher, refreshes when ever it wants to, dosent save favorites, cant filter it, i dont know why it was suggested to use it when dayz commander is much better.

but you dont need amy launcher or commander to play dayz, just launch arma2 co and nav thru the menu to multi player. screw these launchers and crap. ruined my game files six launcher did. shame on you six launcher shame!

yes im frustrated, going on 3 days i cant play the game and thats one day from 3 days not being able to play as i was comatose on the beach from soem bug or another.

oh did i mention im the server admin on duty this weekend? im really admining the hell out of our server ill tell ya.

i dont get it? we pay to rent servers saving rocket the development money of hosting the game him self. we buy arma2 and arma2 co for the assests and so the game looks good, but the best areas are nuked by some graphics glitch.

then theres the bypassed anti cheat client. totally worthless application if its so easily bypassed.

and now i hear tell we all will have to pay again for the standalone. maybe not rockets friends and staff, but the rest of us that didnt jump on the wagon day 1 will be paying full price for a glorified HD version of this mod. is that turns out to be true, it might just piss a lot of people off. not me though, i would never let that piss me off. it would just be normal business practices, the fleecing of the sheeple. par for the course. but not something i want to pay for, pay for skifddies to ruin my server ina full pried standalone game? no stank you very much.

and dont get me wrong here, i love dayz its a great mod. its got good atmosphere, and a huge area to explore. its just the players and the directiopn the mod is going that turns me off.

and im not alone. but hey the other voice in my head is saying stfu and go fix your arma files so we can play dayz.....its a fight i fight every day in me head. to dayz or not to dayz, each day the not gets easier to listen to.
