whong92286@gmail.com 1 Posted August 12, 2012 I always wanted to know how I was going to die after surviving 7 days.... I think I found my answer today. I never would have guessed I would have gone this way... goodbye cruel world... *death*Stranger stumbles across my dead body and notices the broken legs and a note left on my body..."Day 4: I've finally acquired all the necessary gear and started building a camp just outside of stary sobor. I'm hoping that I can gather enough food so I can meet more survivors and bring them to this camp and build a new society.Day 5: I woke up this morning with all my gear gone... I'm not quite sure what happened. No primary weapon, no backpack, no secondary, or any tools. I check my camp for some resources... no such luck. Something strange is going on in the world. Guess I'll head back up to the airfields and loot the items there and set up a temporary camp for the night.Day 6: Once again, strange things are happening in this world. I woke up on the coast... near elektro I believe. I'm quite uncertain as I feel dazed and confused. I check the items on my body and realize that I don't have anything on me again. The same mysterious thing happened again... I'm miraculously losing my gear. I see a barn up north, I'll just loot that and camp out for the night.Day 7: I hear zombies right outside... I don't have any weapons to defend myself... I'll try to just sneak by them. The stairs look awfully slippery though, let's hope I can make it out of here alive."I enjoy finding gear and surviving... but getting something and losing it basically right away without getting enjoy it.... really is annoying!! So yea, I broke my legs out in the middle of nowhere and don't want to crawl 4000m to get to the nearest hospital. Even if I got there, I cant break the glass. I also dont want to lose my 7 day progress (otherwise it would defeat the purpose of trying to survive if I just give up). what do I do?!
intensity (DayZ) 312 Posted August 12, 2012 You can crawl all the way there, loot tin cans on the way to break the glass and get morphine. Think about how accomplished you would feel if you actually managed that. When I got sick off a teleporting zombie I managed to run all the way to the hospital while loosing blood and caughing, killed an animal on the way. Got to a hospital, first loot pile was antibiotics. I was like OMFG!
YassirX 54 Posted August 12, 2012 Dude... I broke my legs while I was jumping from a building in the wilderness. I did put my stuff together and crawled like 5000km (auto walk toggled on, yeah). That's what a real man would do, if the hospital is closed, than throw the head of a zombie at the glass, should work.
bad_mojo (DayZ) 1204 Posted August 12, 2012 The way I look at it, you don't lose progress by dying. One chapter come to an end, but another is just beginning. And you can always just crawl to a landmark and die, then run back and loot your corpse.

bad_mojo (DayZ) 1204 Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) Why loot an empty corpse!! hahahaOh, I was under the impression you didn't want to lose your gear. But, if it's just the point of survival, crawl crawl and crawl some more. Get out your flashlight and attract some players, who knows, they might fix you up.
