Sniper Rifle Suggestions

Just a thought. Everyone is complaining about sniper rifles.

I understand. If you cant use one. they are VERY OP against you. Unfortunately this game is incredibly realistic and IRL there would be people who survived with prior marksmanship experience.

That being said one of the things we could do to make them more difficult to use is force players to zero thier own scopes (effectively reducing the range of the weapons in an unskilled persons hands and reducing the number of snipers)

That being said.... this wont affect me

Realistic? B/c you'd be able to haul an As50/M107 around all day along with a backpack with an assault rifle+ammo/food and drink/med supplies. So realistic. Shouldn't be able to carry a bag if you have a sniper/lmg

Ok.......... that being said 80% of the population are fat and out of shape. you shouldnt be able to haul your own ass around for 2 hrs................

Me... I work for a living and am 5' 7" and 200 lbs. Im a rock. I can lift 800lbs. IRL I would do fine hauling around that gear.

AND I WOULD DO IT

Becuase im also a mathmetician and a .50 calibre rifle allows me to reach out and touch ANYTHING (in a zombie survial situation.... you wont have many LAVs or Heli`s....) (and even they are pray for a .50)

The .50 cal retains enough Kinetic Energy to penetrate armor at 2000 yards.

So.... per say... If i set up on a HIGH position where I could see all coming and goign for 2000 yards... and set up proper fox holing and observation positions... started a survior group and taught other people to shoot like me (like I do for my group in game) I would and could haul it around.

Your lil 7.62mm drops off around 1200m. Ontop of that the .50 BMG is one of the most prolific large calibre rounds in the world.. so all in all ya i would haul it around w all my gear.... just in a group or used in defensive positions on over watch letting OTHER PEOPLE gather food and water..... just so you know

TBH idc how heavy somthing is if it allows me to take out vehicles and engage targets 1000M before they can engage me.
