US 863 - Upgraded Server with SSD!

So among fighting the battle of keeping a stable solid server running, we decided to make a few changes to our server. We downgraded our RAM from the "required" 8GB to 4GB (server never uses more that 1.5). And for the $10 extra a month that RAM was costing us, we had our hosting company put in a 128GB SSD drive. The performance boost was insane! Player spawn times are almost instant, server stays running smooth even with 40 people on, and it stays running smooth even after running for over 48 hours straight without a reboot. Added bonus, server doesn't get desynced with the time. After a 48 hour run period, it was 8PM in game while it was 8PM in real life.

I would recommend upgrading to an SSD for all other server admins out there looking for a way to boost your server performance. And for any players looking for a good, fast, smooth server to play on... check our server out! We run a mumble server where you can chat with other players, and our admins are very active, meaning we do our best to keep hackers off and we give out 3 days bans to crappy players that Battle Log or Teleport. End result being that our server has more decent players and admins you can get a hold of if you have an issue. Check our our official thread, link in my signature!

Was gonna join to see the load times, But i can't even find the server. I get US 1863??

Got an IP i can manualy connect to?

Yeah server name is US 863, not 1863. But I seen you got in. What'd you think of the load time?
