Lepryy 54 Posted August 12, 2012 So first I tried updating with six launcher and it said it did something... Then I got on and it still says 1.7.2.4. So then I go download the torrent, and update it manually. It still says 1.7.2.4. Any help? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
LeBanishedAngel (DayZ) 0 Posted August 12, 2012 Here's my advice. Download something called DayzCommander. Basically the same thing as SixLauncher, but it updates a lot easier and makes more sense. It also allows for more advanced filtering (day/night, third person/none, tracers/none, nametags/ none, ect.). RiggsUK 69 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) I got the same woes, using 1.7.2.4 95883, while every server is using 1.7.2.5 95883. guess ill not bother with the torrent now. all they had to do was fix the dead bodies artifacts. ffs.Edit, yay DayZ commander is DL 1.7.2.5. god knows if itll work but its progress. Because it's a pain and this is why updaters exists. Six Updater never worked for me as well and I'm glad I'm not the only one having so much troubles with it. reidloS doG 38 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) The file is corrupted in the manual updater for the US mirror. Well, to be specific, it seems the weapons folder is not extracting correctely. Winrar keeps notifying me the "archive ends" with two files, two of which labeled at the end "rar."I'm going to try a different mirror and see what happens, as well as dayzcommander. Skytrill 0 Posted August 14, 2012 DayzCommander works well for me after testing, Dayz is now up to date (it can updates arma2 as well) plus you can see when (and where) your friends are online and have a nice selection of filters (like choosing the time of the day).
