That certainly isn't true. Screen gets blurry and you lose color, the game doesn't recognize low blood and then plug in your grandmothers gameboy colored monitor from '94

I eventually crawled away, dodging zombies for about 100m, then cooked some meat to get back to 4K blood. (This battle was several days ago, I've been killed by a player since and am on a new character)

See so clear? I was nearly blind and kept passing out randomly. Luckily I regained consciousness after 10-30 seconds so didn't get eaten. It doesn't translate well in the screenshot I guess but visibility was blurry and washed out.
