Regular Arma II: Operation Arrowhead ?

How do i play the regular Arma II: Operation Arrowhead ?

I tried to disable @Dayz in the game expansions. It aint working, i cant click them to disable them.

I also tried to rename the @Dayz file to see if it would ignore it, still not working.

I cant play any singleplayer or multiplayer of the regular game.

How are you launching the game? Is it Steam? Six launcher?

Try running ArmA 2 OA directly. Disabling a mod in the expansion menu requires the game to restart to take affect.

I take it you don't own the game on Steam? Usually you'd navigate to your Operation Arrowhead Install Directory and doubleclick the corresponding .exe file

I do own it on steam, tried to run the .exe file aint working.

I want dayzmod disabled to try the actual game, but only the first game can run, not Operation Arrowhead.. :,(

weird, gotta look into it... I haven't tried running OA yet (still haven't beat arma :D)

Personally what I do is launch the dayz solely through dayz commander, and I have a seperate icon for OA on my desktop.

Without Dayz i just use steam.

If you've been using a third party launcher (six/DayzCom) You should be able to right click arma 2 OA in steam library and hit Launch Combined Operations.

Should give you access to OA content just fine without Dayz stuff, unless you've been monkeying around with your files and shortcuts.

i POSTED this same issue awhile back and the post disappeared.Was gonna repost but seen this thankfully....hate getting yelled at for not searching :)

It started with the patch that made it so you can't run SP when Dayz is enabled.The thing is I try to disable Dayz and when it restarts its still enabled.

So how do we disable DAYZ mod so we can play other mods or even normal OA??
