Disable the abillity to remove plants from arma 2 [CHEATING]

People cheat by removing plants like trees and bushes, And it is like wallhack, They can shoot trough a tree or trough a building because its invisible for them. They see the mountain clean [only the texture without any trees or bushes] and it's really easy for them to notice someone and kill him.

It isn't fun when you get killed because of this, And I'm surprised that it is so easy to wallhack in arma 2..

Im also surprised non of you report this and fix this, Please fix it, so people cannot shoot us from the other side of the mountain and kill us so easily.

I agree this is unfair and cheating, but it is very hard to take this away from the game. The ArmA 2 engine is so ridiculous easy to modify, meaning a lot of hacks etc. The only way to fix it, is so that people cannot play if they have any modified files other than the DayZ ones, which could cause more problems.

No need to be surprised. It has been discussed here before. The developers knew about this long before these forums even existed, I am sure.

server admins just need to ensure regularcheck is set correctly.

Anyone joining with hacked trees gets kicked minutes or seconds after joining.

Admins can then look in hte logs for "Wrong signature for addons/ca/plants" and ban the fuckers.

As the above poster has pointed out Admins can stop this. If you're playing on a server that this happens on then you're best finding another as that particular admin probably doesn't know enough about being an admin to plug any of the possibly many security holes.

Fly by night admins with cash and no know how or interest in responsibility are part of the wider issue IMHO.
