laramie 11 Posted August 11, 2012 You are terrible, your software is terrible, your design is terrible and you should feel terrible. Kudo's to being the most famously ineffective anti-cheat system ever invented. Your company, your design and your engine is a fraud. The fact you get paid to implement it into anything probably ended the day DayZ actually became famous and people realized how impotent your systems are. You only survived beforehand due to the relatively low number of people playing the games you 'protected'.Thanks, you useless stain of a company.-A DayZ server admin. :DAnyone wishing to vent vitriol - support@battleye.com

Thundirah 18 Posted August 11, 2012 I know this thread might as well not exist but you guys have to admit, BE is astonishingly bad. They claim to have banned 11k hackers globally but then reverse it a day later because they found out 50% (Don't know the real percentage, I may be exaggerating) of the bans were innocent players, and then they make a soppy fucking apology that just looks so unprofessional. alcatraz968 100 Posted August 11, 2012 You seems to never have used punkbuster. It don't usually ban the person the first time to start with, only resets there stats...
martin_sonderegger@bluewin.ch 141 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) You seems to never have used punkbuster. It don't usually ban the person the first time to start with, only resets there stats...That is completely wrong. PB doesn't host any stats for games, if you refer to BF3 for example, DICE has its own "Anti Cheat Team" which resets your stats if you were stats padding. If PB detects a hack, you get a delayed global ban.And sometimes you get banned if you have the Steam overlay active, but that's a secret.
