Anywhere, I usually end up killing myself intentionally after two-three days of gameplay just to have the "starting over" factor again and I personally think that is the best way to play instead of hoarding gear.

Try using this magical thing:

North when I feel like gearing up.

South when I spawn, or feel like killing snipers for a sniper rifle (easier to kill them for a DMR, M14 or M24 than it is to find EVERY deerstand, military tent and crash helio AND PRAY FOR A LUCKY DROP!!).

Central, for hunting tents, North is also good for that.

Anywhere mainly, the entire landmass is my hunting grounds. And I hunt well.

I usually head north the moment i spawn in, it's getting kinda old now though hanging around the NW airfield or looking for crash sites so i might start venturing into the main towns more.
