Anywhere, I usually end up killing myself intentionally after two-three days of gameplay just to have the "starting over" factor again and I personally think that is the best way to play instead of hoarding gear.

DayZ needs more people like you - where you don't care (at least in the video) about your gear and would risk it for a good laugh. The grenade part made me bust up though "I ain't gonna shoot *chucks grenade*"

Don't sprint through the cities and agro every zombie in the city and then you won't have to die and pickup your gear again.

The first time I have ever witnessed a hacker something like this happened, animals were attached to our crotches so I immediately disconnected so the hacker could not slay another victim. I have to say however, that was pretty funny watching you morph to different animals even though it was caused by a person who ruins the game.

Mountain Dew is rare? I remember seeing a can when I was raiding and I overlooked it because I had enough fluids at the time.

The gear you pick up is rental gear, it may expire at any time and you may have to renew your rental lease and pick it up again if you loose it. The game isn't about your gear. I am able to find a decent amount in about thirty minutes of gameplay and usually end up going suicidal just so I can restart again instead of running around with the perfect gear loadout and being bored out of my mind.

I can find a hatchet within the first ten minutes of spawning, there is a weapon for you to start with. Pistols and rifles are also easy to come by if you know where to look for 'em.

Such a waste of valuable ammunition on such a worthless body!

If you have a suggestion then you could place it in the suggestion section (( http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/forum/9-dayz-suggestions/ )). The game is meant to be challenging with limited supplies. This is a zombie apocalypse so you can't just run into a Wal Mart and grab some supplies for yourself. Work for the things you obtain and you will value them more than if they were handed to you.

If I cannot find any good use for it then I will pass it on to the next person willing to take it. I don't even need payment if someone wants to lug the big thing around until it is made worthwhile.

I've only had to deal with one hacker who attached a sheep to my crotch area but I promptly disconnect afterwards. There are at least a thousand servers available at any given moment for you to choose from. Select a server that may not be as populated or popular in general such as US 1-10 seeing that those are the known servers to most people. Trial and error will find you a good server you can stick with, patients.

You should pre-plan your approach to larger cities which are known to have bandits in them. Recon your target before moving in so you don't have to deal with people like those who enjoy sniping you for no reason except adding another body to their kill count. The general solution would be to stay out of the larger cities until you feel you are ready to journey into larger cities and combat against the bandits and others who shoot to kill for the kicks.

I will attach one tomorrow once I go into game again because I am winding down for the night and about to go to sleep. I have never seen one before myself so I wasn't exactly sure what to do with it. It takes up about six backpack spaces so I really just want to know if it is worthwhile to carry it around or if I should scrap it and use the extra space.

I find it comical that all of the noobie topics which deal with being killed by bandits are based around Cherno or Elektro. None of them have thought of not entering either of these cities and just passing by instead of charging right through them. If you want to avoid being a fresh spawn kill then stay away from the larger cities until you have collected enough gear and feel confident enough to go into them. I personally do not see the worth in going into either of the cities because there is too high of a chance of getting killed. So all in all, stay out of the big cities until you feel like you have the right gear to be able to successfully raid. Remember this is a risk reward game, if you plan on going in there know what you are liable to loose before making the final decision on whether to go in or not.
