New DayZ Player with same old BattlEye issue

Now, before I'm yelled at about all the other topics talking about how BattlEye won't update, I want to stress the fact that I just downloaded and installed ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead today just to install DayZ. I'm used to ACE Mod and installing my own addons, so I'm not having any trouble with being a 'newbie'. But, there has always been one part about ArmA that I could never understand, and that was BattlEye.

I have installed DayZ via the Six Launcher, and my game is updated to the proper version of the server I was attempting to join, but as soon as I join the server, I see in the bottom left corner "BattlEye initializing version 1.64" (I think that's what it said, i know it had a 6 and a 4 haha) and then it said something about updating it to 1.68, as soon as it says that though, I am kicked from the server with the error message "You have been kicked"

Now, I understand there are problems updating BattlEye so I tried manually updating it, but it did not work, I tried reinstalling it, that did not work either. I see people with the same problem but I haven't seen a "fix" to it yet. So I'm going to just ask, is there any fix to this? Or is there something else I'm not doing?

My regrets that this is the first thing I need to post as a new member of this community, cheers. ;)

Had same problem, this helped:

Join Server, but don't click OK right away, let BattlEye update. It will take around3 minutes, then you should see a success message.

Now i got to solve the "stuck on loading screen" issue... ;(

I tried that just now, what happened was it said it was updating, so I let it sit on some error message where I had to click continue (one of those 'no entry' messages), let it sit for about 10 minutes and hit continue, got kicked instantly. I feel as if BattlEye is a disgruntled little brother to Punkbuster...and Bohemia Interactive keeps choosing the disgruntled little brother...
