Any ETA on fixing lag?

As we all know, every server lags horribly and I hear that it is because of the main server.

Is there any plan or ETA on when this will be fixed?

It's an Alpha, man. It sucks, and I wished it ran better right now, but you and your network team members have been working your asses off for weeks now and you deserve at least an evening of R&R! I can't speak for everyone but I appreciate the countless hours put in to what was supposed to be a side project.

I saw a report, claiming you can fix the FPS issue by deleting the @DayZ folder and reinstalling the mod

Really, happens every 10-20seconds...

But not only teamplay is impossible, i was alone plundering elektro, got some awesome stuff...killed a guy who shot first (he would have killed me without lag easily...thank you lag -.-...) and died 5min later at the church. Not seeing anyone, not bleeding, not hearing zombies or shots...i just got unconcious and died.

(sure there could have been a guy with a crossbow in the church, but i guess i would have seen him...)

I like to think the lag was the killer...thats why i didnt hear anything :p
