I'm on a really low budget like around $60. I just want to make sure before I buy it that that video card can run DayZ, at least on it's low/medium settings :Dthank you for any help
CrunchyBacon 29 Posted August 10, 2012 You should be able to run Dayz with low to medium settings. Im running Dayz on all low settings with a integrated video card thats not upgradeable on a p6100 processor laptop. My card just says intel, lol. anyway you wont get the performance of say a gtx 680-690 but you should see some improvement depending on what your using now. Although, this card isn't very powerful so i would say that you might be able to play medium but you will probably have to stay on low settings.
krazypunk1018 0 Posted August 10, 2012 I'm prefectly fine with low settings :D right now i'm running a Geforce 8400GS and DayZ is barely playable on a low settings, like my FPS is around 15 when i play with the 8400GS
krazypunk1018 0 Posted August 11, 2012 anyone else can agree or disagree that this video card would help me on playing DayZ?
jivix 2 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) I'd recommend getting something a little more appropriate for your price range. That card seems a bit overpriced. The ATI card has better overall performance than the 2 Nvidia cards, so I would recommend that one.XFX Radeon HD 6570 (1-slot cooler) HDMI + DVI + VGA - $60 + $10 rebate + $3 shipping = $53http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814150613If you are against ATI cards for any reason, then here are some Nvidia options:Gigabyte GT 440 (2-slot cooler) HDMI + DVI + VGA - $64 + $20 rebate + $7 shipping = $51http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814125429Zotac GT 440 (1-slot cooler) 2x DVI + mini-HDMI - $60 + $15 rebate + $7 shipping = $52http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814500252Edit: If you're willing to go a few dollars past your budget, here is an option that will give you better performance than the others by a significant margin:XFX Radeon HD 6670 - $75 + $10 rebate + free shipping = $65http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150576 Edited August 11, 2012 by Jivix

I actually want to learn about computer but I don't know where to start lolthe internet will do wonders for you on that goal buddy. just visit a lot of pc forums and read you dont have to sign up for most. also check out some youtuber's channels that deal with pc tech. always have 3 tabs open in your browser one with the source of your info and the others for wiki and some type of internet slang translator mainly for acronyms.best of luck and hope you get in the sand box soon!
