To be fair, it's not like the main alternative (PunkBuster) is any better.

Yes it is. I challenge you to qualify your remark.

Every shooter I've played that uses it is rife with wallhacking, aimbotting, pickup ESP etc. and EvenBalance never manage to stay on top of it, hence no better.

APB uses PB if I'm not mistaken except their community is smart enough to realize that there is a term called "hackusation".

It's when you die to a player better than you and you cry hacks.

I've seen plenty of spies in TS and hearing them cry hacks when a spy kills them. That's a "hackusation"

That being said they have a mighty big post for cheaters full of videos of snapping, aimbotting etc.

Your entire experience is based on anecdotal evidence, tell me, have you ever administered a server with PB?

I suspect "hackusation" goes on a lot in this game, to be honest.

Why do you ask, did I claim anything technical?

It's Arma, not Battleye.

It's always "the game", but these anti-cheat companies are paid to detect malicious activity such as third-party applications and scripts.

To be fair mate, why dont you code your own anti cheat tool, then we can take a look at it, see what it stops/combats then we can pass judgement on your work...

Untill then Shut The Fuck Up, you socially inept basement dwelling inbred fucking moron.

We all know there is a problem with hackers, and all have to deal with it EVERY day on our servers we pay for out of our own pockets to support the MOD, atleast now we seem to be getting somewhere, daily messages from battleye itself, even if it is just re-assuring words from the Devs,,, atleast it shows they are trying to do what they can to combat the problem...

Any anti-cheat is never 100% be thankful you atleast have some guys in the form of battleye trying to do something...

Sorry for my near full retard experience but morons like this really get my fucking goat..

Thanks

Except Arma is designed to allow client-side scripts by default. BE doesn't just have to detect scripts, it has to detect and differentiate between regular scripts being used in Arma and malicious ones being used in DayZ.
