Remove Thermal Scopes

you don't see 2 km with the thermal scope, it's more like 600-800 meters. Plus you can't see through bushes, some trees and high gras. So as long as you stay prone on the floor you should be fine. The thermal guns are only a danger when they are backed up by snipers.

I had the l85 for maybe 7 days, and i gotta say carrying it is a burden. On close ranges the scope is useless, you've gotta zero for shoots inbetween 200 and 300 meters. So any other assault rifle is easier to use and better pvp and vs zeds. So carrying the l85 is basicly having a fancy pair of binos with you.

I agree, I ditched my LA85. Yes, the scope is cool but as a firearm it sucks.

No need to remove it. It's a real life military gear item...so it belongs in a military sim.

Just make it use batteries that run out and are hardish to find. Simples.

ya i understand its a sim but its ruining sniping...

not sure why you guys keep talking about the l85 like people actually shoot it lol...

its a spotting system for snipers... thats it and its amazingly good at that

engagements usually begin with some1 dying cause thermal scouts them (due to duping as a large population now has them)

if you had to actually go look for people/find them via scope while they in the brush w/ ghuille, the pvp would be way more thrilling.

get rid of the as50 while your at it

add more weapons that aren't amazing and require some skill
