How to use the chemlight?

i open my bag and right click the chemlight , (i got the green and blue one) and nothing shows up .

Click on it in your inventory and then click the drop button. Then go find a flare. Click F if it's in your inventory until you see "throw" then chuck it. You can pick it up off the floor using scroll wheel.

Use the 'F' key (default) to select your chemlight, then trow it. You can pick it up afterwards and carry it around.

i throw it , but i cant pick it up
