BRINBAG 28 Posted August 10, 2012 Lately I have been playing dayz and I found that it is hard to spot or find other players. But today the most amazing thing happened . I was traveling to vyshnoye and I saw a supply truck in the middle of the town and that was the the first vehicle I saw in this game that was operational . I new it was too good to be true and it was, soon after about ten men approached it . So I'm guessing it was theirs . I was about to call my friend so he can join this server when a group of ten too fifteen guys come out of a forest and into a clearing near the town. Now both these groups were heavily armed with MGs assault rifles and high powered sniper rifles. So it seemed like two clans or two groups of friends just happened to wander into each other. So I stayed low and watched. Then the group in the town was about to leave in their truck when gunfire was heard . They started firing back and the two groups were in a small war. The gunfire continued for about five minutes and it looked like the team in the field near the town was winning with six guys and the . The team in the town had about three . Alot of the buildings were leveled and just when I thought the team in the field was about to close in on them a chopper flys over me and goes toward the town . I almost shit myself when the chopper came it was so close to the ground. It looked like the chopper was with the guys in the town so it opened fire on the guys in the field . The gunner in the chopper was very skilled and it wasn't long before everyone in the field was killed. The chopper soon came and picked up the remaining guys and they soon flew away. The whole time this happened my mouth was hanging open in amazement , that was the coolest thing I have ever seen in this game. I too hope to be in another similar battle to this myself. (I have been before) Nothing is better when you are in the heat of a legit battle and your heart is racing your mind to determine what to do next!Thats the core awesomeness of DayZ. BRINBAG 28 Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) I only could search the bodies in the field , the guys in the town were to hard to get beacaus every zombie in the town was agroed and there were all running around so I didn't risk it but I got an M107 satchel charges and a revolver of the guys in the field . There was another M107 and several MGs and assault rifles but I couldn't carry everything. Hopefully the guys who died don't come back and other people can take their loot instead. Also the truck was destroyed in the battle so I couldn't take it and even if it was operational the guys in the town would of taken it anyway.
