Can I play dayZ with the Free arma 2 and paid operation arrowhead?

You need the commercial release to run Day Z, that means Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead, it's not compatable with Arma 2 free, because Arma 2 free is not Arma 2, notice how they tacked a Free on the end of it do differentiate the two?

well it works for me but most of the servers aren't working, I guess it's because I updated and most of the servers haven't.

I'm using ArmA2Free, you don't even notice the low-res quality when you're concentrating on staying alive!

yes you can use the free Arma 2 and paid Operation Arrowhead. I was using that up to 1.5.8 - then I bought Arma 2 retail for the improved graphics and because I love Arma :D
